Highpoint Health - Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas seeks a Certified Respiratory Therapist to provide routine therapy and respond to emergent needs. The role includes monitoring patient status, educating families, and managing respiratory supplies while maintaining equipment and safety standards.

The position requires a TN license and an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, with BCLS mandatory and ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers routine therapy as delegated by a therapist.
• Responds to codes and calls for emergent assistance. Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Educates the patient and family about the patient's illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources.
• Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders.
• Maintains storage areas with required supply levels and equipment.
• Disassembles, cleans, and sterilizes equipment, and performs preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.
