Job summary

Regency Hospital - Toledo in Sylvania, OH is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for full-time day shifts, 6:00am–6:30pm (12-hour shifts). Compensation ranges from $33.34 to $45.00 per hour, with weekend differentials and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, delivering respiratory care, and assisting with procedures such as endotracheal tube management, while promoting quality improvement and patient education.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Overview

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Location: Sylvania, OH

Schedule: Full-Time Days(6:00am - 6:30pm; 12-Hour Shifts)

Compensation: $33.34 to $45.00 Per Hour; Based on years of experience and shift differentials on weekends

*This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Toledo and Oregon locations, as needed.

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
