Select Medical's Regency Hospital in Oregon, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a full-time day shift (6:00am–6:30pm, 12-hour shifts). The role includes evaluating patients and delivering respiratory care for critical cases.

You will manage airway procedures, participate in quality-improvement initiatives, and provide patient and family counseling. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits and shift differentials on weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire (Agency RT on first shift; PRN staff upon hire).
• Preferred: 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Location: Oregon, OH

Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift (6:00am to 6:30pm; 12-Hour Shifts)Compensation: $33.43 to $45.00 Per Hour; Based on years of experience and Shift differentials on weekends

Sign-on bonus: $15,000

*This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
