Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients of all ages. The role requires licensure and NBRC CRTT certification, with BLS, PALS, ACLS within orientation, and NRP for NICU-trained therapists.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests and quality control on I-STAT analyzers and respiratory care equipment, delivering care, and meeting established competencies during the introductory period.

Competenze

• Graduate of Accredited and Approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program.
• Associate degree required.
• Current Respiratory Therapy Licensure through South Carolina Medical Examiner's office.
• CRTT required (NBRC).
• American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.
• American Heart Association PALS and ACLS certifications required within orientation period.
• NRP certification required for NICU trained therapists.

Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care given to inpatients and outpatients to patients of all age populations at Piedmont Medical Center requiring respiratory therapy services.

Performs all aspects of respiratory care to include diagnostic test of the cardio-pulmonary system performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment to include I-STAT blood gas analyzers Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Required:

• Education: Graduate of Accredited and Approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program
