Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility in Denison, Texas, provides respiratory therapy services to patients with a range of conditions. The role involves delivering therapeutic treatments, performing diagnostic testing, and assisting in patient assessment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed as RRT by the Texas Medical Board and NBRC registration.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or completed during orientation.
• 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic respiratory treatments to patients.
• May perform advanced diagnostic testing, patient assessment and intervention.
• Serve as a preceptor for other therapists.
