Une entreprise de soins de santé recherche un praticien en soins respiratoires pour effectuer des procédures thérapeutiques et diagnostiques. Le candidat doit être licencié par l'État du Texas et posséder des certifications BLS et ACLS. Ce poste exige une expérience clinique et un engagement envers la conformité et la diversité au sein de l'environnement de travail.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures. Maintains respiratory equipment. Ensures ventilator and life support equipment are operable. Provides routine respiratory patient assessments. Performs some invasive procedures such as ABGs and assists with intubation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be licensed by the State of Texas to perform Respiratory Care under the guidelines of the Respiratory Care Practitioners Act and holds a temporary permit until a permanent (RCP) license is obtained.
2. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct by complying with all policies and procedures, attending required training, and reporting suspected compliance issues immediately to the Compliance Officer.
EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
1. High School diploma, GED, or higher education required.
2. Completion of an accredited Respiratory Program and eligibility through the N.B.R.C. via one of the following:
a. Certification program through traditional or non-traditional pathways.
b. Experience: at least one year of clinical experience in all modes of respiratory care (credit for coursework in school allowed).
3. Currently licensed by the State of Texas as RRT.
4. Must have and maintain current BLS certification in accordance with AHA curriculum for Healthcare Providers.
5. Must have and maintain current ACLS certification in accordance with AHA curriculum for Healthcare Providers.
6. PALS and NRP certifications within six (6) months of hire and maintained thereafter, in accordance with AHA curriculum for Healthcare Providers.
