Hours: 7p to 7:30a with rotating weekend and holiday rotation
What you will need:
Education:
Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
License/Certifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry eligible status
State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment
Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 24 months of employment
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) within 24 months of employment
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 24 months of employment
What you will do:
Under minimal supervision, provides routine and complex respiratory therapy treatment to patients, performs pulmonary function tests, interprets physicians' orders, and monitors equipment to ensure proper functioning. Assists in monitoring department procedures, recommends enhancements, and helps develop procedures as requested.
