Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness in Casper, WY is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide expert respiratory care within our skilled nursing team, delivering patient-focused support and improving outcomes.

The role requires 3+ years' experience, NBRC RRT certification, CPR/BLS and ACLS, and a commitment to compassionate care. This is an on-site position with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Associate degree from an accredited school.
• Graduate of a respiratory care program required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in the health care field preferred.
• Proof of NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Must hold CPR/BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow schedule and supervisor instructions per policies and procedures.
• Adhere to community policies and procedures.
• Conduct focused interviews to identify patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological changes.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to plan outcomes of care.
• Perform interventions according to priorities and plan of care.
• Follow emergency, safety and infection control procedures.
• Foster good interpersonal communications across departments.
• Report changes in respiratory status to physicians and care team.
• Maintain rapport with inter-department and other staff.
