Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is recruiting Registered Respiratory Therapists to support the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm, with changes possible at the direction of Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities include patient care, therapy administration, equipment management, and collaboration with physicians and staff. The role requires ARRTRadiation therapy program background and BLS, with at least one year of relevant oncology experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduated from an approved Therapeutic Radiologic Technology program (ARRT in radiation therapy).
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of experience with radiation oncology treatment machines and equipment.
• At least 1 year of experience delivering prescribed therapeutic radiation for cancer treatments.
• At least 1 year of experience with 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and reach as required during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Equipment selection and setup for physician-ordered care.
• Administer therapies and diagnostics using medical gases and devices.
• Transport patients for procedures and ensure orders are verified.
• Maintain and reprocess reusable equipment per directives.
• Monitor patient status and adjust ventilatory support as needed.
• Provide bed-side education and collaborate with physicians and staff.
• Document all services and report critical values promptly.
