Northwest Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist - RRT for PRN shifts in Tucson, AZ. The role administers pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic respiratory care under physician orders, performs assessments, and implements treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years acute care experience and hold an RRT credential, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and STABLE where applicable.

Qualifications

• RRT licensure required.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications typically expected.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administers respiratory therapies and medications per physician orders.
• Performs patient assessments and monitors responses to treatment.
• Documents care accurately to ensure safety and compliance.
• Operates and maintains respiratory equipment and pneumatic devices.
• Assists with bedside procedures and ventilator management.
• Collaborates with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes.
• Adheres to infection control and PPE guidelines.
