Job summary

MidState Medical Center, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to administer respiratory therapy, manage oxygen and medications, and operate ventilators as part of an integrated care team.

The 36-hour day shift consists of three 12-hour shifts with every third weekend. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Connecticut licensure is required and the facility offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (required) or higher in an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• Must be able to function as a self-directed team member.
• Connecticut state license is required.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy including oxygen, aerosols, and other gases.
• Operates ventilators and resuscitation devices as prescribed.
• Performs pulmonary diagnostic procedures and related duties as assigned.
