Job summary

Wythe County Community Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shift with rotating weekends. You will examine patients with breathing conditions, consult with physicians to implement treatment plans, perform physiotherapy and related treatments, and educate patients on medication use.

The role requires VA board-licensed RT, BLS on hire, ACLS/PALS within 90 days, and NRP within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the VA Board of Health Professions and in good standing.
• 1 year of hospital-based experience preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire; ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire; NRP within 6 months of hire.

What we're looking for

Applicants should be Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the VA Board of Health Professions and in good standing with the board.

Additional Requirements

• Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of hospital-based experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• NRP within 6 months of hire.
