Graduate of a school of Respiratory Therapy.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire.
AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of employment.
AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of employment.
Note: PALS and NRP not required for Cardiopulmonary Rehab RRTs or Physician Practice RRTs.
