ARMStaffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) for a 13-week assignment in West Virginia. You will work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with some weekend coverage and floating as needed.

You will assess and treat cardiopulmonary conditions, perform diagnostic tests, educate patients and families, and document care in Cerner. Requires at least 1 year of experience, WV license, ACLS/BLS; PALS preferred; CCU experience with adult and pediatric patients.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• WV state license required; pending licenses accepted.
• ACLS, BLS required; PALS preferred.
• Experience with critical care respiratory therapy for adult and pediatric patients.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide assessment, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment, management, diagnostic testing, and education for patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system in both general and acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients, assessing the progress and effectiveness.
• Perform diagnostic tests to evaluate respiratory conditions and make appropriate treatment decisions.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and treatments.
• Document patient care and treatment plans using Cerner charting systems.
• Provide critical care support, including mechanical ventilation management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• National certifications required: ACLS, BLS; PALS preferred.
• West Virginia state license required; pending licenses accepted for submission.
• Experience with critical care respiratory therapy, including adult and pediatric patients.
