Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our Washington-based team, providing essential RT care to residents in a post-acute/long-term setting. This on-site role emphasizes collaboration with nursing and therapy staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Washington RCP license, has completed an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, and brings experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred).
• Current Washington State license/certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders (nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen, etc.).
• Assess and monitor residents' respiratory status and report changes promptly.
• Document treatments, interventions, and resident responses accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment.
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of equipment.
