Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the Pulmonary Department at the Galion location in Bucyrus, Ohio. The role involves providing cardiopulmonary care under physician orders, adhering to department policies, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Required are an active state licensure, AMA-approved respiratory therapy education, and ACLS/NRP/PALS/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiopulmonary care services under the supervision of the Pulmonary Services Manager in accordance with physician orders and department policies.
• Maintain patient safety and quality standards during respiratory care procedures.
• Collaborate with the Pulmonary Department team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Pulmonary Services Manager, the Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, department policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS and BLS certifications.
