Expected Pay: CRT starting at $29.30 - $34.47; RRT starting at $31.49 - $37.05. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This position also includes an evening shift differential of $3.00/hr and a weekend differential of $3.25/hr.

Position Summary: The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy to patients of all ages, following evidence-based policies and procedures. Responsibilities include administering medical gases, medications, airway clearance, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory modalities. The role requires applying theoretical knowledge to care for neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, demonstrating competence in respiratory skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree and successful completion of a respiratory therapy program from an accredited school.
• Basic electronic medical record documentation skills.
• BLS certification required; NRP certification after 6 months of hire.
• Must be a credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license and NBRC credentials if credentialed after July 1, 2002, or a new graduate passing NBRC TMC and CSE exams. Licensure must be obtained within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications: BLS certification preferred for MSS.
