Job summary

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT/RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT/RPFT) to perform simple spirometry testing in primary care clinics around Southern Miami (Cutler Bay, Kendall). They operate as 1099 contractors with competitive daily pay and clinical independence.

You will visit local clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry, educate patients, administer albuterol when indicated, and upload results for pulmonologist review, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential.
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration.
• Comfortable commuting to clinics throughout a region.

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
• Educate and coach patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients throughout testing.
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health with professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Compensation

$245–300 per day paid biweekly; additional supplemental compensation may be available based on experience, tenure with Crosswalk Health, and region served.
