Job summary

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple spirometry testing at primary care clinics in the Houston (Beaumont), Texas area and nearby Mississippi clinics. In this 1099 contract role, you’ll visit local clinics during daytime hours, with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Current CRT/RRT/CPFT/RPFT credential.
• Experience performing bedside spirometry.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and albuterol administration.
• Willing to travel to clinics across a region.
• Available for a flexible schedule.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
• Educate patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients during testing.
• Grade and upload testing results for pulmonologist review.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
• Build professional relationships with patients and clinic teams.
