Job summary

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT/RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT/RPFT) to perform spirometry testing in primary care clinics around Corpus Christi. This role offers daytime hours, flexible scheduling, and meaningful patient care in a fast-growing healthcare startup.

As a contractor, you’ll work independently with clinical support, educate patients on testing, ensure safety, and upload results for pulmonologist review.

Qualifications

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration
• Comfortable commuting to clinics throughout a region
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing
• Educate and coach patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients throughout testing
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health with professionalism and compassion

We’re hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple spirometry testing (pre/post albuterol) at primary care clinics in the Corpus Christi area.

Compensation

$245–300 per day paid biweekly; additional supplemental compensation may be available based on experience, tenure with Crosswalk Health, and region served.
