Aurora Health Care Metro, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform pulmonary testing, administer inhaled medications, and support patient care with a focus on safety.

Requires an associate degree, RCP license, BLS, CPFT or RPFT within 18 months, and about 2 years of experience; strong communication and computer skills; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work location is Arcadia, Oklahoma, with potential collaboration across departments to ensure patient-focused respiratory care.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license (state) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare required.
• Active CPFT or RPFT certification within 18 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Performs pulmonary diagnostic testing (spirometry, volumes, DLCO, bronchial provocation).
• Administers inhaled medications per provider order and collects/analyzes blood gases.
• May perform home oxygen assessments and 6-minute walks; supports bronchoscopy as needed.
• Demonstrates effective communication, safety culture, and teamwork.
