Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and general respiratory care procedures and protocols.
• Conduct critical care procedures in adult care areas.
• Perform blood gas analysis.
• Maintain and manage all respiratory equipment.
• Provide patient education related to respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
• Experience: Previous experience in respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation with skills validation.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State of Georgia.
• Additional Certifications: Current BCLS and ACLS certifications. Must actively maintain all competencies.
