Job summary

Oak View Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. You will assess, treat, and supervise respiratory therapies, coordinating with other resident services to ensure continuous care.

The ideal candidate holds a current state license and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Respiratory Therapist license issued by the state.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and care as prescribed for patients with breathing disorders.
• Assume primary responsibility for respiratory therapies, including the supervision of respiratory therapy technicians.
• Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check and operate equipment.
• Successfully collaborate and initiate coordination of respiratory services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care.
• Complete, review, and ensure all respiratory therapy notes and charting are informative and descriptive of the respiratory care services being provided and that response to care is documented.
