Job summary

Oak View Health and Rehabilitation in South Conway, SC, is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care for residents. You will assess, treat, and manage respiratory therapies, supervise technicians, and collaborate with other care teams to ensure a seamless total regimen of care.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation and responsive care, with a focus on delivering an excellent clinical experience for patients and a positive work environment for staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Respiratory Therapist license issued by the state.
• Assess, treat and care as prescribed for patients with breathing disorders.
• Collaborate with resident services to coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and care as prescribed for patients with breathing disorders
• Assume primary responsibility for respiratory therapies, including the supervision of respiratory therapy technicians
• Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check and operate equipment
• Successfully collaborate and initiate coordination of respiratory services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care
• Complete, review, and ensure all respiratory therapy notes and charting are informative and descriptive of the respiratory care services being provided and that response to care is documented
