The Community You’ll Be Caring For

• AdventHealth Riverview is expanding its medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a new hospital opening in 2024.
• The new AdventHealth Riverview will include 82 beds at opening, with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.
• This $250 million project also includes a 100,000 sq ft, four-story Medical Office Building providing convenient access to expert care.
• AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of healthcare services, including emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic, and women’s care.

The Role You’ll Contribute To

The Respiratory Therapist reports to the director. Responsibilities include delivering patient care under the direction/delegation of physicians, performing competencies outlined by the department, interacting effectively with patients, families, physicians, and team members, and maintaining standards of respiratory care and regulatory compliance. The therapist reports observations, interventions, and responses to the RN and/or physician, demonstrates sound judgment, and serves as a resource for department practitioners, students, and the interdisciplinary team, utilizing critical thinking and decision-making skills to ensure quality patient care. Contributing to the achievement of dashboard measurements and satisfaction metrics is also expected.
