**The role you’ll contribute:**

The Respiratory Therapist II performs routine respiratory care procedures for neonatal, pediatric, or adult patients, working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include initiating and maintaining therapy, providing life support, and supporting the cardio-pulmonary system in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards. Must demonstrate competency in advanced clinical skills, participate in customer service, and adhere to compliance and safety regulations.

  • Proactively initiate process improvement ideas.
  • Assist with clinical instruction, precepting new staff, and serve as a resource.
  • Support hospital and department goals.
  • Practice safety and document procedures accurately to ensure quality standards.
  • Respond immediately to Code Blue emergencies, providing CPR as per American Heart Association guidelines.
  • Perform airway maintenance, including use of manual resuscitators, airway insertion, and suctioning.
