Job summary

Hchcares is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in Indiana to provide day-to-day care for hospital patients with pulmonary disorders. You will perform respiratory therapy and related procedures, and maintain equipment in a hospital setting.

You will work under supervision but perform many treatments independently, receiving verbal orders from physicians and conducting pulmonary function testing as part of patient assessment. The role requires Indiana licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow complicated medical instructions and understand respiratory therapy procedures.
• Completion of an accredited AMA respiratory therapy program or equivalent.
• Licensure by the State of Indiana as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• BLS certification.
• Two years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow complicated medical instructions and have a thorough understanding of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment
• Requires completion of an accredited (AMA) school in respiratory therapy or its equivalency
• Requires licensure by the State of Indiana as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Requires BLS certification
• Prefer two years experience
