Job summary

The Rehabilitation Center of Orlando, part of Excelsior Care Group, is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist for a 12-hour night shift in Orlando, Florida.

Join our compassionate team to deliver ventilator support, assess patients, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and educate families on equipment use and care.

You will document patient progress, prioritize safety, and uphold our standards of high-quality care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited two-year Respiratory Therapy program.
• Proven experience providing ventilator care and managing respiratory therapies.
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to work independently and prioritize patient safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care and ventilator support per protocols.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on respiratory conditions and equipment use.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient progress in a timely manner.
• Ensure safety, comfort, and compliance in all aspects of respiratory care.
