Job summary

North Central Baptist Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for PRN night shifts to deliver high-quality respiratory care. You will complete required competencies within the introductory period and perform related duties as assigned, contributing to patient recovery and comfort.

The role requires an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program graduate with current Texas RCP license and NBRC CRT/RRT credentials; BLS is mandatory on hire, with ACLS/PALS/NRP training expected within 60

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Texas RCP license and NBRC CRT/RRT certification; renewal every 5 years unless grandfathered.
• Active BLS is required on hire; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care Program

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Some experience in respiratory care or related area

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current RCP State of Texas License, Possession of current CRT or RRT Certification from NBRC Renewal required every 5 years unless grandfathered prior to July 1, 2002)

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.

AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.

AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering Pedi.

AHA NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering NICU.
