Job summary

Jobtailor in Beaver County, PA is seeking a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform routine cardiopulmonary procedures in PAM Health hospitals, maintain respiratory care equipment, and provide phlebotomy and basic lab testing.

You will work one weekend and one holiday; must hold state license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Associated degree preferred; arterial blood gas/licensure may be required in some states; inpatient hospital experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state license to practice respiratory care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (current).
• High school diploma required for arterial puncture/blood gas roles; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cardiopulmonary procedures and emergency care in hospital settings.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as requested or required.
• Work one weekend and one holiday as part of rotating schedule.

Job description

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals
• Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested
• Work one weekend and one holiday

Requirements

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred
• Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn
