Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform routine therapy, diagnostics, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures in PAM Health hospitals, with emphasis on patient care and equipment maintenance.

The role includes phlebotomy, basic laboratory testing, and adherence to BLS/ACLS requirements; blood gas licensure may be required in certain states; a high school diploma or higher is expected, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

• The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
