Job summary

BayCare Health System, Gessler Pulmonology in Winter Haven, is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for PRN days onsite. You will support pulmonary care by performing respiratory testing, educating patients, and collaborating with providers to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements include a Trade or Technical School degree in Respiratory Therapy, two years of experience, and a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license. BayCare offers a competitive benefits package and PRN scheduling.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
• Trade or Technical School degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients with respiratory conditions and concerns.
• Performing respiratory diagnostic testing and related procedures.
• Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care plans.
• Explaining testing procedures and results expectations to patients.
• Maintaining respiratory testing equipment and ensuring proper functionality.
• Cleaning and sterilizing equipment according to established guidelines.
• Supporting efficient clinic workflow and patient experience.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
