Job description

RT PRN

The RT candidate must be proficient in the use of equipment used in resuscitation, continuous ventilation, respiratory care, and 12-lead electrocardiography. The candidate will organize and deliver in-service programs for respiratory services staff and other patient care staff as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an NBRC-approved respiratory therapy program.
2. Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) must be licensed by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained prior to the first shift worked.
4. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification to be obtained within 60 days of employment.
5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
6. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification to be obtained within 180 days of employment.
7. Previous experience as an RCP is preferred.
8. New graduates of an NBRC-approved respiratory therapy program will be considered.
