Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care, oxygen services, and ventilation support to patients of all ages in a homecare setting.

You will perform diagnostic testing, manage airway support, and ensure accurate documentation while staying compliant with safety and regulatory standards. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy and current licensure.
• CRT credentialed by NBRC.
• BLS, NRP (NICU), and ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory procedures and monitor oxygen therapy and ventilation.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and EKGs.
• Assist with airway management and follow physician orders.
• Educate patients and staff on procedures and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and stay current with certifications.
• Ensure compliance with laws, standards, and safety protocols.

Role:

Respiratory Therapist responsible for providing respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Administer therapeutic procedures, monitor and wean oxygen therapy and ventilation support.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as Arterial Blood Gases and EKGs.
• Assist with airway management and follow physician orders in accordance with policies.
• Educate patients and staff on procedures and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and stay current with certifications and technical knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate’s Degree and current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT).
• Certifications: BLS, NRP (for NICU), and ACLS (within 90 days).
• Proficient in computer skills, effective communication, and strong analytical and interpersonal abilities.

Additional Duties:

Maintain professional certifications, attend staff meetings, and adhere to safety and compliance standards. The role involves exposure to infectious materials and requires physical effort for moving objects and supporting patient care activities.
