Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to deliver advanced respiratory care in complex care settings, including critical care units. You will manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, and administer aerosolized medications as part of a patient-centered care plan.

• Requirement: Respiratory Therapist with degree (A.R.T. or B.S.).
• Current licenses/certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT or equivalent.
• 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered respiratory therapy, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and aerosolized medication administration.
• Perform assessments, collaborate with healthcare teams, and develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients, families, and support systems, ensuring understanding of treatment and care needs.
• Mentor and precept new staff, students, and peers.
• Ensure safety and quality through accurate documentation, adherence to protocols, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
