Summary:

• Delivers age-specific respiratory care to patients in the PMPH System.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality care to our patients, adhering to all regulatory standards such as JCAHO, Department of Health, and CAP.
• Assume all patient/customer respiratory responsibilities.
• Follow the organization’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform all age-specific respiratory therapies.
• Participate in the department’s performance improvement activities.
• Understand and ensure exceeding performance indicators.

Credentials:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (Required)
• Certified or Registered status according to the National Board for Respiratory Care; Licensed in New Jersey.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Required, within 6 months of hire)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required, within 6 months of hire)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required, within 6 months of hire)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program or equivalent experience, such as 1+ years in Critical Care, NICU, and pediatric experience.
