Job summary

Matheny Medical and Educational Center in Peapack, New Jersey, seeks a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist for the night shift. The role requires NJ-licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner, CRT or RRT, and CPR certification (BLS/AED). ACLS is preferred; national boards are required for eligibility.

The position supports adult and pediatric patients at a private, non-profit hospital and school. Responsibilities include delivering patient-focused respiratory care, participating in Code Blue drills,

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care.
• Current CPR Healthcare Certification required (BLS and AED).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification preferred (ACLS).
• National Board of Respiratory certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient-focused Respiratory Therapy services.
• Participates in Code Blue team drills and evaluations.
• Provides education and staff training.
• Provides oversight for environmental safety and equipment management.
• Complies with all appropriate Joint Commission and CARF standards of care.
• Participates in the interdisciplinary pulmonary clinics.

The hourly rate for this position is $ 40.00 hourly.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current CPR Healthcare Certification required.(BLS and AED)
