Job summary

Select Medical in Panama City, FL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for PRN / Per Diem, 12hr shifts, night shift. Compensation is $36 per hour plus shift differential for night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients and developing treatment plans, delivering respiratory care to critically ill patients, assisting with airway management, and contributing to quality improvement efforts while supporting families with education and counseling.

Qualifications

• NBRC CRT or RRT credential required.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• ACLS required upon hire.
• Current state licensure is required.

• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
