Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health in Missouri is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy based on physician orders. You will consult with physicians to evaluate therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for medical staff.

Qualifications include graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, current state licensure as an RCP, NBRC credential (RRT/CRT), ACLS (required) and PALS, plus at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current state licensure and Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Credential as RRT or CRT from the NBRC.
• At least one year of experience (excluding orientation).
• Certifications in ACLS (required) and PALS (for Emergency Room staff).
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving up to 50 lbs. push/pull/grip, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care, consult physicians, act as a resource, and utilize respiratory equipment.
• Preferred experience in critical care is a plus.
