Role:

Per diem Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).

Responsibilities:

Assess patient respiratory needs, develop and evaluate treatment plans, perform procedures such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, artificial airway maintenance, and mechanical ventilation. Initiate and manage ventilators, provide patient and family education, assist with intra-hospital transport, and support emergent airway management. Collect arterial blood gases, assist with fiberoptic bronchoscopy, and invasive monitoring. Maintain safety standards and patient confidentiality, ensuring compliance with regulations. Collaborate with medical teams and adhere to evidence-based practices.
