Job summary

Forks Community Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care across the Acute, ER and outpatient settings. You will perform all modes of respiratory therapy, EKGs, PFTs, spirometry, stress testing, and ABG analyses, with potential ambulance transports for critically ill patients.

Requirements include NBRC-credentialed CRT/RRT, WA RCP license, and 1+ year in acute care. BLS required on hire; ACLS, NRP, and PALS within 6 months of employment.

Qualifications

• CRT or RRT credentialed by NBRC and at least 1 year in Acute Critical Care.
• Licensed as RCP in WA; current BLS on hire; ACLS, NRP, PALS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide Respiratory therapy in Acute, ER and outpatient settings.
• Perform all modes of Respiratory therapy, EKGs, PFTs, Spirometry, Stress Treadmills, Holter Monitors and ABG analysis.
• May transport critically ill patients by ambulance when required.

Job description

Provides Respiratory therapy and Cardiopulmonary services in the Acute, ER and outpatient settings. Performs all modes of Respiratory therapy, EKG's, PFT's, Spirometry, Stress Treadmills, Holter Monitors and ABG's. May go on transports of critically ill patients in the ambulance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• CRT of RRT credentialed by the NBRC. Minimum of one year experience in an Acute Critical Care area.
• Licensed as an RCP in WA, Current BLS upon hire, ACLS, NRP, PALS within 6 months employment
