Respiratory Therapist – Cardiopulmonary Services – Per Diem

Part‑time position.

Provides cardiopulmonary services to hospital patients and outpatients. Coordinates patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapies. Requires advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations. Conducts non‑invasive cardiac and respiratory studies/tests and coordinates special projects as assigned. Assists nursing staff with short‑term relief during high utilization times.

Requirements

• Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license
• Current CPR card (maintenance required)
• ACLS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
• PALS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
• NRP within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Work and/or educational experience that promotes group/team relationships
• Experience in respiratory care, including care specific to adult and pediatric acute care delivery
• Experience in tertiary level respiratory care or geriatric respiratory care

Compensation

Wage range will depend on applicable years of experience and level of license.

• CRT – $30.29 /hour – $46.06 /hour
• RRT – $33.21 /hour – $48.98 /hour

This position may also qualify for an additional 15% premium in lieu of benefits.
