The Pulmonary Function Respiratory Therapist role within the Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital offers a unique chance to become part of a dynamic, collaborative interdisciplinary team. This position adds value to patient care and significantly assists individuals with breathing issues.
We currently offer an opportunity for a PRN Pulmonary Function Respiratory Therapist to support newborn and pediatric patients in our Level 1 trauma center in Cleveland.
The therapist is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision.
Must have at least one year of recent PFT experience; 2–3 years is strongly preferred. Previous work with pediatrics is also preferred. Having a CPFT or RPFT is ideal but not required. In this role, the PRN RRT will administer pulmonary function testing on children ages 5–18 and adults in physician’s offices located inside Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, as well as affiliated clinics in surrounding suburbs.
