Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for Pediatric NICU. You will deliver specialized respiratory care across NICU and pediatric patients, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and collaborating with the care team.

The role requires NBRC-CRT or NBRC-RRT credentials, state endorsement as RRT/RCP, BCLS, and PALS within 30 days. This is a full-time, on-site position at a premier tertiary care facility in Dallas.

Qualifications

• NBRC-CRT or NBRC-RRT required.
• State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner credentials required.
• BCLS issued or instructor required.
• PALS certification required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care in NICU and pediatric patient populations.
• Execute assignments with proficiency across modalities and ensure adherence to hospital policies.
• Support respiratory students in clinical care settings.

Job Summary And Qualifications

It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Certificate
• (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor Required
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
