Build Specialized Pediatric Respiratory Experience

Pediatric Specialty Care at Hopewell is hiring Respiratory Therapists to care for children with complex medical and respiratory needs in a supportive, home-like pediatric setting.

This opportunity is open to RRTs and CRTs who want to develop or expand their experience in pediatric respiratory care, ventilator management and respiratory rehabilitation. You do not need to arrive with pediatric or long-term-care experience. If you bring a strong respiratory foundation, sound clinical judgment and a genuine interest in caring for children, our team will help you build the specialized skills needed for the role.

Unlike a setting built around brief encounters and rapid handoffs, PSC gives Respiratory Therapists the opportunity to know each child’s baseline, recognize meaningful changes and follow progress over time. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, therapists and families to support individualized respiratory goals and continuity of care.

Your Impact as a Respiratory Therapist

At PSC at Hopewell, Respiratory Therapists:

  • Support children who may require ventilator, tracheostomy and other complex respiratory care

  • Participate in respiratory assessments, ventilator management, weaning and rehabilitation

  • Develop and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans

  • Collaborate directly with physicians, nursing and interdisciplinary clinicians

  • Educate families, caregivers and employees on respiratory equipment and procedures

  • Build sustained clinical relationships with children and families

  • Help children maintain stability, improve function and work toward meaningful long-term goals

Hear from a PSC Respiratory Therapist

“Working as a Respiratory Therapist at Pediatric Specialty Care has been a deeply fulfilling journey. I am grateful to work alongside an amazing Respiratory team whose members support one another and share the goal of providing the best possible care.”

Each child and young adult has a unique personality, and it is incredibly rewarding to get to know them, support their growth and witness their journeys toward improved health and well-being. Working with their families—whether preparing them to take their child home, celebrating happy moments or supporting them through difficult times—has been equally meaningful.

I would not trade my years at PSC or the experiences I have shared with our kiddos for anything.”
