Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking experienced allied health professionals for a travel assignment in pediatric care. Nurses or respiratory therapists will work primarily in NICU, PICU, or pediatric units, with floating to related units as needed.

Ideal candidates have pediatric hospital experience within the last 3 years, NICU/PICU expertise, and accredited program education. Shifts are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every-other-weekend schedules and potential holiday work.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Job description

Seeking experienced allied health professionals for a travel assignment in pediatric care.

The role involves working primarily in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), or Pediatric (Peds) units, with floating to related units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing specialized respiratory and pediatric care, managing neonatal and pediatric patients, and completing labs within 48 hours of signing. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience, including recent pediatric respiratory and NICU/PICU experience, and hold current licenses.

Required Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT. Experience with Cerner and trauma Level 1 is preferred.

Other Requirements

• The role requires flexibility in floating among units and possibly to other facilities, with scheduled shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Valid licensing, proof of certifications, references covering at least one year of relevant experience, and adherence to vaccination policies.
