Position Overview

We are seeking qualified Respiratory Therapists (RRT / CRT / RN) to educate, train, and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy, oxygen, and other respiratory equipment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, communication with physicians, and ensuring quality care tailored to individual needs.

Position Details

This is a PRN (Per Diem) position, allowing you to create your own schedule by accepting a set number of visits each week. Compensation is per set-up, ranging from $5.00 to $100.00.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a current list of respiratory patients.
2. Conduct initial and ongoing phone contacts with patients.
3. Perform in-home visits and patient assessments, including history, physical exam, and diagnostics.
4. Provide patient education on equipment use, compliance, and therapy benefits.
5. Set up and monitor respiratory equipment such as ventilators and monitors.
6. Document all services per company policies.
7. Participate in on-call phone consultations as needed.
8. Support training of other personnel under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Credentials as RRT, CRT, RN, LPN, or similar preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record (if applicable).
• Must be licensed as required by state law.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Effective multitasking and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry equipment as needed.
