Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy team. You will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services as prescribed by a physician, and care for neonatal through geriatric patients following established protocols.

This casual role requires a minimum of 6 shifts per quarter with weekend coverage and one holiday per year. Minnesota licensure and NBRC registration are expected, along with BLS; NRP, PALS, and ACLS within 6 months of

Qualifications

• A.A./A.S. in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field required.
• Minnesota license as Respiratory Therapist required.
• NBRC registered RRT required.
• BLS required; NRP, PALS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services as prescribed by a physician.
• Follow treatment protocols and department policies.
• Assess, interpret, and intervene for neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Ensure patient welfare and safety during treatments.

Education

A.A./A.S. in Respiratory Care/Therapy

Minnesota Respiratory Therapist License

RRT NBRC

Job Overview

Fairview is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy team at our Lakes Hospital location in Wyoming, MN.

The Respiratory Therapistis responsible forprovidingdiagnostic and therapeutic servicesas prescribed bya physician. Follows defined treatment protocol according to department policies. Collects, assesses,interpretes,and intervenes asappropriate inthe care of neonatal, pediatric,adult,and geriatric patients. Ensures patient welfare and safety standards during treatments.

Schedule:

This position will be working casual. Casuals are required to work a minimum of 6 shifts each quarter/ 3 months. One shift must be a weekend. One holiday per year is required.

Required Qualifications

• A.A./A.S. in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field
• Respiratory Therapist License issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field experience
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
