Job summary

This full-time night position (18:30 - 07:00) provides respiratory care to acutely ill patients, performs ABG analysis, and operates ventilators while participating in multidisciplinary care.

Requirements include a CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license, RRT credential, BLS and ACLS; NRP is required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Valid CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• RRT credential required.
• Current BLS and ACLS required; NRP preferred.
• PALS preferred; CPFT may be considered.
• Graduate of COARC/JRCRTE/AMA Respiratory Care program.
• Minimum 2 years hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes healing of acutely ill patients through respiratory care and patient education.
• Perform ABG analysis and arterial punctures.
• Operate mechanical ventilators and COPD/ACLS dependent care.
• Document treatments and maintain patient records.
• Respond to emergent situations and assist with CPR/ACLS.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; ensure safety protocols.
