- Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. The hospital is nationally recognized for patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical and clinical support of respiratory care services throughout the hospital.
- Keeping current with new developments in the field of respiratory care.
- Evaluating and making recommendations for services.
- Maintaining a high level of skills to perform duties effectively.
- Proficiency in modalities such as aerosolized medication delivery, oxygen therapy, breathing exercises, postural drainage, pulse oximetry, pulmonary function testing, and phlebotomy (training available if needed).
- Maintaining professionalism and participating in educational in-services.
- Promoting good public relations.
- Following directions, maintaining confidentiality, and interacting professionally with colleagues and patients.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related experience.
- Current OK Respiratory Care License.
- Basic Life Support Certified.
- CRT or RRT certification.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- One year of related experience.
- AARC Membership.
- National Specialty Certification.
