• Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. The hospital is nationally recognized for patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical and clinical support of respiratory care services throughout the hospital.
• Keeping current with new developments in the field of respiratory care.
• Evaluating and making recommendations for services.
• Maintaining a high level of skills to perform duties effectively.
• Proficiency in modalities such as aerosolized medication delivery, oxygen therapy, breathing exercises, postural drainage, pulse oximetry, pulmonary function testing, and phlebotomy (training available if needed).
• Maintaining professionalism and participating in educational in-services.
• Promoting good public relations.
• Following directions, maintaining confidentiality, and interacting professionally with colleagues and patients.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related experience.
• Current OK Respiratory Care License.
• Basic Life Support Certified.
• CRT or RRT certification.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• One year of related experience.
• AARC Membership.
• National Specialty Certification.
